Reminder:The Military is in Town
A reminder for Sussex-area residents: In case you haven’t noticed, the military’s in town. They’re visiting for the next week or so to perform drills and do urban combat training in preparation for the battlefield.
Residents are reminded that the soldiers will be openly carrying weapons and will there will be both uniformed and ununiformed officers participating. Officers in civilian clothing are required to have a uniformed soldier nearby so they don’t confuse residents.
Soldiers are not participated any ammunition during their street operations.
