SUMMARY:Spring Clean Up
DESCRIPTION:Spring Clean-Up is the perfect time to clear out unwanted items from your home\, yard\, basement\, or attic. \nGuidelines:\nWhat will be collected – During this special collection\, the Town will collect a wide range of items\, including furniture\, appliances like fridges and stoves (no need to remove gas from refrigerators)\, lumber\, metals\, and more. \nWhat is not accepted – While most items will be accepted\, we cannot accept hazardous waste\, such as batteries and computer monitors\, as well as construction debris. \nPreparing your items – To ensure a smooth pick-up\, please separate recyclable materials from general waste and avoid packaging anything over 50 pounds per bag\, bundle\, or container. Items like branches and shrubbery must be securely tied with string or rope – bundles wrapped in wire or metal ties will not be accepted. \nOnly clear garbage bags will be collected during this event. Blue and black bags will not be picked up. \nCollection Process:\nPlease keep in mind that Spring Clean Up happens alongside regular garbage collection on your regular collection day\, but the process takes place in phases. Certain materials and items may be picked up on different days\, so it may take a few days for all of your items to be removed. It is important to remember that once your items have been collected there will be no return trip to collect further items.
